Christmas and Black Friday: forever the cause of a moral dilemma for ethical retail businesses like ours. Encouraging people to quickly and mindlessly buy things they don’t need doesn’t sit well with us at all, but nor are we exactly in a position to demand abstinence when it comes to shopping… we’re a retail business after all!  

 

Long days. Many sleepless nights. A ton of coffee.  Whatsapp conversations around the clock.  Teething problems and tears. And a constant state of learning and adapting, growing and marvelling. What a whirlwind it’s been!

When Japanese-style functionality meets light and cosy Scandi style, we see a beautiful blend of aesthetics take shape in the home. Japandi interior design takes inspiration from the traditional Eastern ‘wabi-sabi’ philosophy that celebrates all things naturally imperfect. Yay!

If you’re a little bit interiors-obsessed like us, it’ll come as no surprise to hear that Scandi-style minimalism is officially OUT, and it’s all about ‘curated clutter’. Yippee!
