SIKIA is a handwoven basket with blue and pink geometric patterns. This unique basket was made by a talented member of the Kamba tribe in Kenya.
These baskets are an original design with geometric woven patterns and tribal inspiration. Traditionally called a Kiondo (kee-yon/-doh) and made in rural communities in Kenya. Seen as an old fashioned skill, the elders have traditionally made these baskets, but have recently inspired many other women to get involved since their revival and demand.
A strong, durable design made from sisal grass and upcycled wool. Each is unique in its design, no two exactly the same so you can be sure that yours in definitely a one off!
These colourful floor baskets are ideal for plants, winter woolies or fire kindling, bringing boho style to any room.
